Civilian Training

At Tap Rack Ready LLC, we take tremendous pride in training our neighbors, local citizens, and American patriots. We are honored to serve you and thankful for those who choose us to help elevate their tactics and skillsets beyond the beginner level.

Our civilian courses are Combat Performance based, not picking a firearm up from a table, shooting, and placing it back down. We train you how to fight with your Every Day Carry set up in some courses and Combat Performance Courses while wearing kit/ gear in others.

What makes our training different than most other venues is that we build confidence in our students by teaching them how to fight intelligently but aggressively to defend themselves and others, pressing threats, overwhelming threats with the use of tactics and knowledge, triaging wounded, and being able to give advanced first aid to yourself and or others. It's an entire package of training.

Our training courses start off slow and build skillsets from the ground up. It's a crawl, walk, run philosophy. We do not want you to feel overwhelmed or intimidated to join us. We take pride in seeing our students learn and develop into performance proven shooters and tacticians who can take the training they have received back into the real world with confidence knowing they can protect themselves and others from any kind of threat that may present itself, or to simply treat the wounded.

Our civilian training pathway begins at two entry points. Level 0 and Level 1. We do this to build a performance based foundation and understanding of our program. We know we will have students join us who can shoot, but understanding our philosophy, command cadence, safety and range rules takes time. We are also nearly certain you will still learn something new and can build on it.

We like to start everyone on the same level and build up. Safety is not a talking point here — it is the foundation of everything we do. Before performance, before speed, before complexity — there is discipline. To ensure this standard is upheld, all civilian students must start at one of these two levels.

By building from the ground up, we create shooters and tacticians who are not only capable — but composed, safe, and disciplined during a crisis and while under extreme levels of stress that real world events present.

Begin Your Training Path

Serious training starts with a decision only you make.

Whether you are new to firearms or ready to elevate your performance, your first step is structured entry into the Tap Rack Ready system.

We do not allow random placement into advanced courses.
We protect the standard.
We protect the safety of every student.
